On the book’s description, I couldn’t find any information explaining that this book is for beginner or advanced level. As I’m a beginner to XML and I have an advanced level in ASP.NET, the book was ok until page 131. From page 134 to the end, the content is not easily explained comparing with Microsoft XML documentations for .NET framework and SQL server 2000.

I read most of the book, before reading this book, I read couple of books from wrox like introdction to .net and XSLT, and C#. None of the wrox books gave me satisfaction. Many times wrox confuses the readers (could be becuase of many authors).
Any way this book is really excellent for every web programmer who wants to get into .Net. I personally feel, Sams(inform it) published books are better and clear than wrox. Even you are new to XML and XSLT, this book does justice to make you understand the concepts. And the examples are so easy to understand. I also liked the language. I believe in KISS ( Keep it simple )

The content of this book is really good.
The author explained the topic really well. The examples are not a boring scenario.
If you’re a serious .NET developer, you will keep this book
as your reference.
